Terence Leet is a leading residential designer on the West Coast of Florida. He is known for his range of traditional to contemporary styles while creating interiors that speak of originality and taste. Born into an artistically talented family, Terry was an art major at Edinboro College and later graduated from Parson’s School of Design in 1968. Later he studied with Parson’s in Paris and developed an overwhelming love for everything French. In 1969 Terry joined Bloomingdale’s as an interior designer and later as Senior assistant Design Director, working with Richard Knapple designing model rooms and furniture for the flagship Manhattan store. In 1975 Terry joined Burdines, Florida, to head up their Design Studios in Clearwater and Tampa.
Leet Inc. Interior Design was incorporated in 1981 when the desire for interior decorating for one's own clients exceeded the retail grind. Leet Inc. is headquartered in Clearwater, Florida. Terry’s range of client projects takes him from Boston, to California, Colorado and Fisher’s Island, Florida. He is an associate member of ASID, and has been published in Florida Design, Southern Accents and Veranda.
In addition to interior design, Leet Inc. also produces a collection of shell tables and mirrors in a variety of finishes. “I have been lucky to establish a presence in a city not my own, and make it work for me and my clients. I will never travel or know enough, but returning home is always a happy remembrance."
